IIRC, he got a fat three years contract with the Rockets plus several endorsements (Nike, Volvo, etc.) in the US plus several more in Taiwan/China.

Even if he could not play another game in his life, he will be set for life and with a Ivy League degree, he won't blow all his money within a year or two, and you won't see his name in another Sports Illustrated article of "Where is my daddy".

That may be true, but my point is that there has been a ton of news about him since his outburst as a Knick. Almost Tebow-esque, just not quite the same magnitude.

First of all, IMO, believing in "one" player could save a pro franchise = nut. It has not been done. Even with the great M. Jordan, he did not win anything until he had some decent players beside him.

NYC = media magnet place and basketball crazed with well known celebrity as fans.

Houston = large city but not as "glamorous" and no big star fan.

We will see if he will continue to play well. Time will tell.

And the Knicks were in a horrible downfall without two of their star players. Lin stepped into that spot and won games. Gotta see how he plays this year.

Apparently albinism does not occur in wild wolf species due to genetic reasons.
