Minneapolis

Hey folks, I have to be in Minneapolis next week (flying out tomorrow evening) and am wondering, just how much of a madhouse I should expect. Anyone have some insight?

Minneapolis shouldn't be too horrible as the RNC is in St. Paul, but lodging may be running a bit low.

I've got my hotel booked already. Managed to find a room ~6 blocks from the office.

Should be alright, the only thing that is concerning many is "protesters."

In Minneapolis, I think most of the protests are going to be on the Uni campus. Avoid taht for the most part (Washington Ave. SE) and you'll be set.

Excellent. Sounds like my area will be pretty quiet...hotel's on 3rd Ave. S and the office on S 7th St.
