most likely the cause was a defective driver or bad tires... since the car behind them made the turn just fine without falling victim to the "black ice"

Yes, quite retarded. The article is implying that 5 out of the 6 were able to exit the vehicle under their own power. The 6th person was carried out on a stretcher. All 6 survived.

edit: Worded poorly, perhaps, but it makes sense if you use even a shred of deductive reasoning.

Please...:roll: They are lucky to be alive. I attribute none of that to the fact that they were in a Pontiac van and all of it to favorable conditions, luck and the fact that they were all wearing thier seatbelts.

Still, it's an amazing store. Glad they are all okay.
