I have a Toshiba Satellite 2410 that has a built-in antenna but my model didn't come with the wireless mini-PCI chip. I want to buy a chip but I'm worried about compatibility. Can I expect any B or G card to work?
 
I think it should work fine. Mini PCI should be universal like how PCI is for PC. Make sure it had two antenna connectors though.
 
yea any miniPCI will work from what i've read. the only laptops that differ are the IBMs which will only work with certain IBM approved cards. your toshiba should be able to use any card.
