minimum psu to just get this system going. no 3d games

im putting together this system all my parts are here except motherboard is on its way im tracking it on fedex.com the psu i sent the money for and forgot delivery confirmation so somone claims they never got it. and the videocard i just sent the money for out today

heres teh setup

nf7 motherboard
xp1700
256mb pc 2100 kingston
30.7gb hdd
radeon 8500 (non le the good one clocked 275/275)
1 32x cd drve
1 floppy drive

ill probly get the motherboard tommorw and i wanna test eveythin out to make sure they all work. so i wanna set it up at my neighbors and just fill in what im missin with some old parts like his 64mb tnt etc. im curious what u guys think it would take to power that system just to get it setup and perhaps install windows xp????

A Verax 300w was reviewed @THG. I believe Sparkle and Verax are owned by the same company. Newegg has a Sparkle 300w with the same model# as the Verax for $27 @Newegg. I ordered 2 just yesterday! That should be more than enough for that box.

Yup, that 400w is more than enough for that system.
