Minimum Proc speed for 2X Burner??

Does anybody know the minimum processor speed for a 2X burner. I got a buddy with a P133, 128 meg of ram machine that wants ta burn CDs. I could likely pop a P200 in the board but would just as soon avoid that as it would likely involve flashing the bios!

should work ok....i had to dig through my desk to find info on my old HP 2x2xx24 cdrw 7550I, and according to manual system requirements are:
IBM or compatible with Pentium (R) processor (133 MHz or above)
32 MB RAM
15-110 MB free hard drive space for installing software
10 MB free space for each minute of recorded music
Microsoft (R) Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0 with SP3

I guess i should clean out my desk huh...suprised i was able to find that thing, anyway I hope that helps ya.

Thanks Trashman that's just the info I needed and don't clean that desk out ya never know when you'll need something in there LOL!
