Minimum PCI-E Vid Card to play HDTV in MCE 2005?

I previously used a 9600xt and it played HDTV perfectly fine. I then rebuilt and went to an x300 and then an x1300pro and both are jittering on the 1080i signals. Are they both really (especially the x1300pro) less powerful than the 9600xt?

And the real main question: what is the minimum card to smoothly play 1080i HDTV in MCE 2005 (PCI-E only)?

I was playing 1080i and 720p on my wife's integrated GF4 MX using the HDTV Wonder. There were a few dropped frames, but it wasn't anything very noticable during regular watching. I gave her my old FX5700, and it's been totally perfect since.

If it were me, I would investigate to see if this is a driver issue.

Yeah, it really must be...

The really really strange part is that 720p plays perfectly fine. Aside from ripping all drivers completely and reinstalling them, what else should be done? I have already done that, but I will do it once again completely. Should I reinstall the drivers for the HDTV Wonder as well? And which should I do first?
