Minimum memory for WIndows 7

I installed on a 2.9G Pentium 4, using just an old 80Gig hard disk and used old 512MB of RAM left over from customer's computers.

It runs Win7 just fine. Much better than if it was Vista of any flavor.
 
I have two machines running Windows 7 Pro 32. One has two gigs and the other 1 gig. I have found that using a 4 gig thumb drive allocated for Ready Boast really does help speed things up.
