Minimum Core 2 Duo Core Speed and Multiplier (Speedstep)?

I am not familiar with the Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The AMD Phenom processors will decrease the Clock Multiplier when not needed. For example as shown in the pictures, the Clock Multiplier will decrease from 16 down to 4, to allow the Core Speed to drop to 800MHz. This allows the voltage to drop, for example from 1.39volts down to 1.09volts.

Do the Intel Core 2 Duo processors do this?
I assume the Intel i3, i5, and i7 have this behavior, am I correct?

Thank you.

Yes all the intel chips do it as well. Intel calls it SpeedStep but I do not recall how low they actually clock it, but i don't thinks its ever as low as the amd's
