Might help with annoyances like this.

Hardforum does it. I don't think their 50 post minimum is necessary. Hell, 24 hours, ten posts, or something similarly lax would probably work. I assume it would be easy to implement?

It's probably because it was spam and deleted.
His point was something about averting spammers or scammers from using FS/T before becoming a confirmed legit member.
