MiniMouse problem

I am having a hell of a time getting a GE Mini Optical usb mouse (HO98803) to work..... I have tried about 10 different drivers from mutliple places and it still just shows up at HID device.

I am running Win98se on a libretto 100ct.

Help me please..

Well, it is kinda a Human Interface Device, right?

Does it work? If it moves the cursor, don't worry about it. Every USB mouse I've ever seen has been plug-n-play (aren't all USB devices?). Don't worry about getting drivers if the mouse works.
