Minidisc to MP3 format

PLEASE HELP! I need to convert from minidisc to mp3 format. Or even .wav format would do! But some way of doing it, some program or something. Anyone!?

do you have a digital to digital connection between the md and computer? if not, then all you can do is an analog recording.

It's only analog, not digital. But I need info on like, how to hook it up, output from minidisc recorder to input of soundcard? And what program can I use to record off of the minidisc?

yea, hook it up from the md output to the input on the soundcard. the simplest way is to use sound recorder in windows. i didn't say this was the best, just the simplest and from there you can mp3 compress it.

no prob, glad to help. i just wish i had better info and more in-depth knowledge about md as i am just starting in the format myself...only been playing with md for a year.
