I've owned this unit for about 8 months now (got it at Best Buy "Open Box" for $49.60).

It's an excellent unit for the price. It is actually a Kenwood Chinese made MD Player that Audiophase essentially slapped their name on. Sanyo had a similar model sold at Circuit City.

The only thing I don't like about it is all of the controls are on the remote, as is the LCD. So if you lose or break the remote, you have a useless little machine.

Still, it also comes with a rechargeable battery and a/c adaptor. Excellent deal, great find!

Good find. Almost bought one, but then I realized it's a player only...(read the post next time Bond). Oh well, I'll keep looking for one.
