MiniCD -- can any regular CD burner use them?

I'm a WinXP user, but I've been exploring the world of Linux lately and have tried out such builds as DSL linux, which boasts of being able to fit on a mini CD and is bootable on virtually any computer. I've tested it out with a regular CD and it's pretty amazing, full functionality including many popular apps and a full internet application suite.

Anyway, on to my question...

I've seen MiniCD's in stores here, primarily from Sony. But my question is, can I burn these CDs with my regular cd burner? I've got a Liteon burner, if it matters. I know that most CDROM drives have the smaller space for them to fit in, but I want to make sure it will actually work before I go out and buy some. I see no mention of them in Nero at all...

Can anyone enlighten me? 🙂
