I picked up one of those little RC cars at the local fleamarket. If you don't know what they are, they are a micro mini RC car (The car is about 2" long, REALLY small. I can curl my hand around it and cover the whole car up.) I paid $15 for it, but they are cheaper at other places. They have full 6 way control - Forward, reverse, left, right. You snap the car on the remote for 45 seconds, and it charges the car. Car bat lasts for 6-10 min. NEAT AS HELL! :D

I bought it for parts, but I can't bring myself to destroy it. I've spent the last hour knocking stuff off my desk with it. Little sumbitch flies! I can do brodys with it on my desk now.

Anyone else play with these?

I have a BitChar-G that I ordered on eBay before, thing is real fun :) Mine's a blue Skyline with a 2.2 motor

BTW:

Is that the only 2" long thing that you can make disappear in your hand? :D lol, sorry, couldn't resist :p

Any sites that explain all the finer details to a n00b like me? From the looks of things I assume you can customize these things.

These things look pretty cool.

Here's a good site for any of you that want to get these... tells you about them too.
I bought a couple for myself and a coworker a couple weeks ago.
FYI get Bit Char-G cars... they're the real thing AKA Hobbico Microsizers in the USA. I bought mine from Tower Hobbies.

My silver supra with a 3.8 motor will whoop on all of ur guys' cars :) lol. I have some motors that are really fast and have lots of torque that i got from a motor company, but they have wires on them, i soldered one into a friends oem car and it worked fine, if anyone wants to buy em off me message me i guess :)

Generaly the Microsizers (USA), Tomy (Tomica) Bit Char-g, and the Tomy Compact Char-G (Australia) are the only good quality cars. The others are cheap, fall apart, dont go as fast, have less torque (no carpet playing). I would recomend a Real tomy one if u want to play more then a week.

I love getting bored with stuff before the craze catches on. My and my friends had these since the last school year, I can't even remember when. My fondest memories include us all staring wide-eyed as we tried to get it to drive up a ramp only to fall over, then we all hurt till our stomachs hurt. Another included a time when one of em got stuck in one of those sidewalk cracks and I was whizzing around in my 1/10 scale RC car. I offered to give him a nudge, but ended up rubbing his car all over the sidewalk with my wheels. :) He almost cried when he saw his paintjob. Then, he tried to ram my car with his only to run out of power before it hit. :D
