We're trying to be better about saving and freezing foods and we all know the way to freeze meat well or anything for that matter is to remove all the air. For so long I did the "cover with aluminum foil, use ziplock bag and your mouth to suck most of the air out". It worked pretty decently.

Then we got this little handy gadget, and I have to admit it does a really good job. Reusable bags and not as full blown expensive as a vacuum sealer with one time use bags.

Or you could get a vac-sealer from Reynolds at Wal-mart for around $10. I have one of the orginal foodsavers, we paid about $100 for it, bought my mom the Reynolds for X-mas, she likes it, don't know how long it will last vs the Olispo machine but at $10 who cares?.

Looks pretty nifty and the same concept and you can't beat the price. I guess it would come down to the power of the vacuum and the price of the bags between them. I think she got suckered by an infomercial but so far I like it.
