ATX motherboards fit in mini-towers.
 
Intel invented the ATX standard in 1995. Since then there have been a few revisions.


Sizes(Maximum):

ATX - 12"x9.6"
MiniATX - 11.2"x8.2"
microATX - 9.6"x9.6"
FlexATX - 9"x7.5"
