If we are to place bets, then we are going to have to know the stats of which ya'll are crunching with... I quit betting on names with greyhounds. If you are going to bet on horses, you have to know the numbers.

As it is now it is only Petrus vs. Assimilator1 ... :D
Others may join - after checking with Assimilator1 or with me.
How we will handle additional crunchers we have not decided yet ... :Q

lol.

Hey Pete ,will you be adding the number of Mpts crunched from the startline too?
Will give a better idea of how the race is goin:)
Your output back to normal?

Btw is UTC same as GMT?

FMC
lol
I'm still running my XPM 2500 @2.5GHz ,though its not 24/7 anymore but 14/7 on average. That gives a theoretical maximium of about 11,700 Mtps/day (24/7 would be about 20,100)

My 2nd rig a Sempron64 3100 @2.5GHz ,does just a few hours or none at all in the week & a handful of hours over the weekend. So that don't do much ,if it were on 24/7 I estimate it'd do 23,100 Mpts;)

One day I may get around to swapping mbrds & CPUs around from my 2nd rig to my main rig.
My 2nd rig is about 15% faster at DPAD & uses about 1/3 less power! (XPM rig uses ~185w & the Sempron uses ~125w ,though the XPM has more RAM & a thirstier graphics card).I've put off doing it though as I'm not convinced Win XP will handle the changes & I CBA to re-install windows on both rigs :p

If you do not mind I could keep tabs too. :D
My office computer seems to have recovered ... but we will see later. Otherwise I'll look into it monday morning :)
Half the year UTC = GMT. No daylight saving time though, so now (until DST ends) UTC=GMT - 1 :Q

Atm we're on BST (British Summer Time) because of no DST ,so we're on GMT+1

I think GMT is excluded from DST,as is UTC,isn't it? lol

And yea go for it re stats :)

I think we can ignore 1s/yr ;)

Yeah Zulu time. I remembe someone lost their birthday while going over the international date line. It was hilarious. We celebrated his birthday three months later when we crossed back.

But what's Zulu time?

Zulu time, is maritime talk for GMT. The time zones correspond with letters of the alphabet. I don't remember them anymore, but I'm sure I can find them if someone's interested.

Thanks for the stats :)

I wish I could :)
According to my sendlog.log, 49 results (approx. 8 000 Mpts) have been sent to white-panther.kick-ass.net. Unfortunately I have no access to that server (obviously :D ) so I can not upload any results to Stephens site ... :(

Thanks for stats Peter :)

I forget that DPAD doesn't have a single server collecting the results (like SETI does) ,so I guess a load of yours got trapped for a while.

Btw I have to confess that my 2nd rig was on much of Saturday daytime:eek: ,I was testing a new HSF ,it did have an AMD retail heatpipe unit which on that day was giving me 42C.
The replacment unit was giving me 35-36C :) ,of course I had to give it a proper test ;)

I suspect my lead will be whittled down through the week :p;)
