I have a dell c600 laptop.
It's a very popular laptop so I am sure some of you have it.

I simply love it, and don't want to upgrade yet, it's fast enough for everything I do on it. But I am tired of using a pcmca wireless card. It doesn't fit in my bag, so I have to take it out each time I go somewhere with the laptop.

So, I am going to add a mini-pci wireless card.

The problem is as far as I understand, I have a mini-pci card in there right now, that is running the modem/network. I've seen a lot of posts that talk about plugging in a mini-pci wireless but losing the modem/network.

So here is the question. I know the mini-pci interface is standard, so is there a mini-pci modem/network/wireless card out there, so that I could make everything work, because I used the regular network jack also at times when wireless is not available.

I am sure someone here knows the exact answer, or can point me in the right direction. Where would I get one of these cards? Most cards on ebay seem to be wireless only, without network capability.

And screw the modem, I just need wireless and network.

I did a search on Pricewatch and found nothing that integrates wireless and nic...you may want to consider a mini pci wireless adapter and possibley a usb NIC.
