Mini notebook mice

I am thinking of getting one of these mini notebook mice, since I am out of the office very often and don't want to lug around a big mouse.

Any experiences with these?

Since I am also trying to cut down on the cable clutter, I am looking into one of these with a retractable cord ...

Any recommendations? (Don't really see why I should spend more than $10 for the name brand ones/no name mice)

I have the Microsoft Noteboof Optical Mouse.

It's awesome... for laptop use. The Antenna dongle snaps in place under the mouse when not in use and turns the device off. It takes one AA battery. It has 2 buttons and a nice clickity wheel (not the tilt wheel) which when pressed is mouse button 3. I love it, haven't had any connections problems ever.

IMHO it might be the perfect notebook mouse.

Check out Logitech's cordless optical mouse for notebooks. Around $35.

I am pretty sure that I want to go with one that has a retractable cord.
IMO the cordless mice are more hassle than they are worth
(and they use more power)

In that case, go to any office supply chains and get one of those $15 retractable mini optical mice.
