You are actually trying something you read in Maxim?????

I get a kick out of that magazine, they actually appeal to two types of people, those that read the magazine and think wow, this is some good information, and those that read it and realize it is pretty much just a complete satire of the basically assinine nature of the average male.... :) Obviously, I am not classifying what section you fit into, although you did burn yourself trying something they suggested..... ;)

This will probably get locked but, to make a Mini-match rocket. Just take a wood match and wrap the sulfur head tight with tinfoil. Then heat it up with a match or lighter. That?s the way it was taught to me as a child. Try not to burn your house down.:)

You've got to use a pin and put a hole in the tin foil so you'll get some gas escaping and thus propelling it. That's how I made them as a kid.

Hey Hey! Yep, they do work. Getting them to fly in a straight line is hard though.

Ya, I would definitly reccomend these for ourdoors or people you don't like. In mine there tends to be alot of smoke (In a wickedass looking trail though!) and burnt fingers. Problems occur when launching and when dumbasses go and pick up the rocket after it's landed. They have a small tendancy to be red hot and easily seare skin.
