Does anyone know of a benchmark out there of a chip like this against an Atom or other HTPC oriented CPUs?

Something like Browsermark.

To give you an idea, my Tegra 3 tablet scores higher than my overclocked 2.2Ghz single core Atom.

Pretty neat, but I'm not really into ARM stuff, I still prefer X86, no matter how low-power or "neat" an ARM rig is.

(Maybe I was soured on ARM given how slow my CVS Netbook was.)

You will probably have to wait for Windows 8 RT running something like PCMark to get a comparable.

I'd check a website like Phoronix to possibly get some Linux on ARM benchmarks for comparison.

The ARM chip is most likely going to get destroyed by any modern x86 Intel Atom / AMD Fusion APU, however, where power is not an issue.
