i'm building a nas based around the Intel Xeon E3-1235L v5 and AsRock C236 WSI, and need a case. so far the silverstone ds380b and lian-li pc-q26 are in the lead; i'm looking for mini-itx, at least 4x 3.5" drive bays (preferably more), and good airflow with big, slow fans. i plan to have the cpu run fanless, so case airflow is important.
the ds380b is nice except i'm not a huge fan of how it looks. i suppose i could get over that. though. the pc-q26 looks like it wouldn't have great airflow with 80mm fans.
historically i haven't been a big fan of fractal design because their cases seem flimsy and cheap to me, but i'm open to being convinced otherwise.
