Mini Displayport to Displayport?

Is there such a thing as a mini displayport to displayport adapter? I tried looking online but I didn't find anything that looked reputable. Basically, I have a 27" Apple Cinema display with a mini displayport cable and I have a videocard with displayport output. I guess what I need is a female to male adapter

How are you going to adjust brightness and stuff on the display? I'm assuming you're connecting it to a windows PC since macs have Mini-DP right on them.

This is a mini-displayport cable to displayport cable...not an adapter. As far as I'm aware the cable is attached to the cinema display so I can't use this.
