for US market, the difference between $25 and $35 is not even worth having 2 models, for 'emerging' markets where that $10 might be several days wage or something i can see why

I think if $10 is a big issue, having a toy computer is their last concern.

The main difference from the Model A is that they include an Ethernet port, and 2 USB ports.

Can someone help me understand what the Model A is worth if it doesn't have any USB ports? How the heck do you use it?

Nevermind, found my answer:

Model A has one USB port

It's a super cool device, but this initial launch has been a clusterfuck. Demand outstripped supply by a factor of 1,000. I'll get one when the hype settles down a bit, and it'll give me time to see what cool projects other people are doing with them.
