browsing via's site i found the mini-box m-100

thing is i cant find much information about it

what do you know about this?

how would windows run on it?

what do you think of the $400 price?

what can you run off of a CF card only?

do you know anything about the company that makes this?

is this a unique product?

Not thinking it would run Windows at all- embedded OS. Interesting concept, perfect for carputer though.

Considering it gives absolutely no specs besides processor speed, or how ANY of it works, I personally wouldn't buy it, but do your own thang I guess.

The manual says that the system is designed to run off a compact-flash bootable disk. Windows does not come on a compact Flash anything. They have a linux distro which is probably customized for the thing, and in fact runs with an embedded version of Linux Apparently you can slide a notebook hard drive into a slot, but since you have to buy a hard drive, why not just get a regular SFF box or a regular box, unless you truly only have that tiny amount of space for it.
