What is this double click method?

Can someone explain minesweeper? I can do it so slowly after recognizing patterns but I've never actually understood it.

I rule at FreeCell though

Easy example

If you see this in a row where S is solved and a,b,c are unknowns:

SS1a
SS2b
SS1c

You know that a nd c are bombs. Why?

the '2' tells you that two of the three unknown cells (a,b,c) are bombs. If 'b' were a bomb, 'a' and 'c' could not be bombs since the '1' cells would be satisifed. Therefore '2' can not be satisified.

This is probably the most powerful trick I know of.

I think that this is a version of the game that makes it so you never have to guess.

Even the best player will probably have to make 2 or 3 50-50 guess clicks on a game of expert, making the chance of actually clearing the thing fairly small. I didn't see a single guess in this game, I'm guessing that this minesweeper clone probably rejects boards that'll make you guess.

The problem with Expert is that almost always you'll need to guess.

Not so with Intermediate, so that's what I usually play. 17 seconds for Intermediate. Beat that!
