Hum. I thought I would give this a try and alas (kind of feel dumb) but I'm stuck. Not sure if anyone else has played through - anyways I'm in part three - the satalite fired it's pulse. I lived instead of died. I took an elevator up then walked up two shafts (ladder). Now I'm in an area where there was a break-away wall and behind it there were 6 to 10 zombie with crabs on them. I killed them. Behind them the elevator (it is the platform type with clear bottom) is broken and I can't find a way up from here. I tried jumping onto the wall that has some clear pipes but i couldn't find another ladder and the pipes in this area have clipping problems (they don't block you and you can walk through them).
Not sure if this description of my location makes sense but if so do you have a rather blunt ('cause I am obviously dense) hint as to where I shoudl go next ?
