Never heard of her. Although I can understand how people may feel so miserable and that there's no other way to deal with it, suicide is pretty awful. Especially awful for her kids. That's gonna mess them up for the rest of their lives. (At least she didn't shoot the kids, though...) I feel bad for the dog too.

I sort of think the kids were in danger. The killing of the dog signals something beyond normal depression, I'm no expert but I don't think I've ever felt low enough to kill my dog. I know she'd get on just fine without me
