i think hes a bit of both.

for example, he calls Indian people "hindus". the guy probably doesn't realize that hindu is a religion, not a race or ethnic group.

he is the one to tell others to go to college and get educated etc.

there are many other examples

sometimes hes just plain arshole

i think hes very funny, or at least some portions are very funny. not very accurate, but very entertaining

i watched an episode of that show last night and didnt find it funny with one exception. The "free speech" segment was mildly entertaining but the rest of it like the "dee dee dee awards" was just plain corny and made me long for Chappelle's show.

Mencia is funny about 10% of the time.

He reminds me of a Spanish Joe Rogan. Not the decent Rogan on Fear Factor......the horrible version on The Man Show.

i like Mind of Mencia much better than Dave Chappelle. for some reason, i never got into the Dave Chappelle show.

Carlos Mencia's main goal is to be very upfront about his feelings and to piss off as many people as possible. he does that well

overrall, its a great show and a breath of fresh air (or not )

Seriously though, I watched one episode and there were some funny parts, but the more episodes I watch, the more he's just coming off as loud, annoying, and ignorant.

The only thing I don't like about him is that retard voice that he does like 30% of the time he's talking. Once every few episodes would be enough, but 10 times in an episode gets annoying quick.

I love him, I think he is funny as hell and makes much better astute and clever jokes that Chappelle. Furthermore I really don't see Mencia being some Chapelle wannabe as somebody implied being that Mencia has been on the comedy circuit for a very long time. He has a new show, but he is not a new comic.
