MIME types in Internet Explorer

How do I configure them? I need to add a Powerbuilder mime type so I can read a .pbd file... plugin documentation amounts to zilch. Anybody have any experience with that?

I think you have to set up the association manually in IE, something like "manage plugins", but it's been a long time since I've done this.
