Well, I think dealerships could easily replace said switch, we're talking for losing what, $100 on every vehicle made in the last 15 years here? Yeah, it's bad, but not the end of the world.

On most of its models, Ford designed the switch to be powered -- or "hot" -- at all times, even when the vehicle is off and the key is removed from the ignition.

WTF are they THAT retarded?????

that is what a switch does, power goes in one end, no power in the out, the switch in the middle to turn it on. they are suggesting that it is hot by having power go to one end of the switch. god damn it that pisses me off, most of the uneducated public will be all over that too.

The issue is with the film that separates the brake fluid from the master cyl. which is NOT on the other 15 million vehicles. gd, i hate it when non engineers attempt to talk smart.
