I just bought a couple gallons for like 2.15 each. Price hasn't changed much here.
Weird thing is that butter has almost doubled. Even the Costco butter is like 9 bucks for 4 pounds now.

Where the hell in WI are you? It's about $3/gallon in the Milwaukee area. Maybe some stores haven't upped their prices yet but damn...

The most expensive liquid on the retail market is still Flonase @ $6,541 per gallon. Glad your Dodge Neon doesn't have a sinus infection?

My economics teacher told us at the beginning of the quarter this was gonna happen soon and he said he was stock piling up on milk. Don't know if he was serious, he's an odd guy :p

If I'm not mistaken, I've saw a list of price/gallon items, and the highest cost per gallon was far higher than that for things on the retail market.

Anyway, in western NY, retail price is just over $3 per gallon, some convenience stores had it for $1.19 a half gallon as a way to attract customers into the store.

Dairy supplies are down. The prices of milk, butter, and cheese have all skyrocketed lately at the wholesale level. Expect prices at the grocery store as well as dairy-heavy restaurants to go up.

well i guess the dairy industry is taking notice of the gas giants and realizing that they can charge whatever they want.

Geez, I'm looking at my local supermarket's ad right now and I'll be paying $1.99 when I go out shopping later tonight. Weird; I hadn't even noticed an increase.

Assuming they have milk in stock. Most places I went yesterday when they had it in the ad had bare shelves...

same here in Houston area of Texas. I don't know where Homersapien lives in Texas, but milk isn't anymore expensive now than it was 6 months ago. Eggs on the otherhand....

Milk prices have gone up. The name brand milk is upwards of $3.30-$3.50. While the store brand is typically under $2.60-$2.90, cheaper when on sale. Of course, smart buyers will buy half gallons, which are either $1.39 or $1 on sale.

College Station. Krogers sales put the cheapest brand at 2.50 sometimes and that is only if you have a krogers card. Regular price for med grade is 3.89. Borden was like 4.89. HEB is a cheaper, but more of a pain to get to. Albertsons is like kroger's in pricing.

Up in tyler at brookshires, its 3.89.

I blame these store discount cards. Ever since those came out, prices have sky rocketed.
