Well, I just paid $3.49 plus tax for a half gallon of Horizons organic milk, because everyone told me it was so good. That's the price of a gallon. This better be some darn tasty milk. 😛

I manage the dairy department at the store I work in. All I've heard the past week is people whining about the prices of milk. I watched it go from $2.89/g to $3.79, and that's for store brand. Pet and Coburg are like $4.50 and $5.00 a gallon. My asst. manager said to tell customers that in NY it's like $3.xx for a half-gallon. Like that will make them feel better...

On the other hand, all the short-dated milk that I usually have to throw away after reducing is flying out the door🙂

Half gallon is still $1.20 here at Kroger in Mt. Vernon. I have heard it is on the rise though. At least the dairy farmers are making a little more because of decreased production. Farmers have def. been getting the shaft lately...

I dont think, I mean i sure as hell hope that my girlfriend cant drink two gallons of milk in a week.

Is it me, or as prices go up, the expiration dates comes sooner?

~$2.00 per gallon in Utah.

same here in Houston area of Texas. I don't know where Homersapien lives in Texas, but milk isn't anymore expensive now than it was 6 months ago. Eggs on the otherhand....

Man, I might have to reduce my ice cream quota this summer if prices get any higher at Cold Stone, Marble Slab and Ben & Jerry's.

I used to get 3 long, floppy bags of homo milk for under $3 CDN in Canada.
