They might have conjured up the concept, but they are not giving me the internet access to post on it. I pay for it. If I don't pay for it, I wouldn't be on it, and the government has then effectively given me nothing.

Next.

Oh jesus, really?

You really have to be dense to even ask that question.....
I challenge you to go to any other country and then come back here......you will know right away what Perknose is talking about!!

I've been to another country. I didn't notice anything different. Other than the steering wheel being on the other side of the car and driving on the wrong side of the road, and their coins and bills looked different. And they had funny English accents. Granted, I wasn't there for any duration to get a good feel of whatever you are asking me to seek, but on the surface, I didn't notice much different.

(I have traveled to Netherlands and the UK)

The nation you live in has a working healtcare, a built infrastructure that allows you to work in companies other people have built. It has a communications infrastructure that allows you to communicate, it has a law enforcement and national army that keeps you safe.

You owe your entire life to your nation, without it you would not even exist.

Oh jesus, really?

Sorry. I'm not in the exclusive free internet club. What difference does it make about the country inventing something? That invention was paid for by tax dollars... The service is not free. So therefore, it's has not given me anything.

Is that concept hard to understand? Or am I totally just missing something?

If some idiot came in here and said "Prove to me the Earth isn't flat", would you take the time to do so? No.

Leave him be.

Again, those services are paid for out of my paycheck by force, if I want it or not. What has it given me exactly?

I don't owe my life to anybody but myself. I don't care what your opinion is. What a stupid world view you have, that someone has to be a slave to their country because we owe it.

Haha. What a crock of shit.

I will chip in on your ticket to any one of the world's beautiful government-free zones. Why stick around here?

- Waziristan

- Deep Amazon

- Most of Somalia

Some good choices there scooter...

Since no intelligent discussion on this matter can be had with you, I'm out.

What are we debating? I'm not questioning the quality of life here over another country. Of course in central MN, the quality of life is fairly good compared to the shittiest shitholes on this wide earth like Somalia. But all of that came at a cost. It was not given to anybody. In fact, most of it required a great cost. I'm paying into the system for the future generations. If I don't pay that cost, I visit the local prison.

You may call that a gift. I don't. I call it "Getting what you pay for." If I moved to Somalia, I'd get what I'd pay for there as well. But in no ways I'm receiving a gift in either case.

Great! Next time bring some intelligence into the discussion. Thanks.

I provided you with an actual argument, your response was "hurr durr no i don't accept reality as real".

I can't respond to that utter BS without being demeaning towards you so i tried not to engage you further.
