"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Seems heavy handed to some degree perhaps, but seems the Democrats won't lift a finger to help with this problem, so citizens have to take matters into their own hands. Just as the forefathers wanted.

I do hope we have immigration reform soon, we need our borders secured and a better process to get good people into our country.

Does that militia understand that the border patrol's entire job is catch and release? They escort people INTO the country.
One the plus side, people have been identified and checked against terrorist lists, on the negative side - there's no one legally stopping illegal entry.

I do not see this ending well for the ‘militia’, to say the least, haha. Just from the article alone it looks like we potentially have the crime of impersonating a police officer. These detentions are probably unlawful as well.

When will these idiots learn?

They want their country safe and secured. Lawlessness is the end result of people loosing faith in "the system". At the end of the day they do not want to bow to you or anyone else, they want results. And if elections do not achieve results then they'll organize around the use of force., legal or illegal. Terrorism is easily born from the issue of illegal immigration.

If playing border patrol will not work, and these groups have to stop playing militia, then I suspect some of them will step into the shadows and begin assassinations.

Their country is safe and secured, they are just being used as useful idiots by unscrupulous politicians trying to whip up anti-immigrant hysteria. The main public policy immigration issue we have is around how hard it is to employ immigrant labor legally, not some sort of crime wave by undocumented immigrants.

The problem is the people forming these ‘militias’ are not rational people.

There is nothing well regulated about these militias.

Really, consider what is going to happen when some of these immigrants start to fight back.

What happens when this militia mistakes a lawful citizen for a immigrant and that person refuses to be 'detained' by this militia.

What happens if me and my friends decide to go and help protect some of asylum seekers, who I might add are in their legal rights to cross the border to seek asylum?

What would happen? Trump wins a major propaganda boon and Slow blows his load in his knickers.

They don't need to be lawful citizens for these guys to be vulnerable to false imprisonment or kidnapping charges. Again, they also seem to be falsely identifying themselves as police/border patrol agents, which is also a crime.

These are some of the reasons why previous militia idiots who went down to the border wouldn't engage the migrants directly, they would alert border patrol who would then come. That's a much, much smarter way of doing things, one much less likely to land you in prison.

I think I need to classify you as something else than homo sapiens.. some sub species of lower value, not worthy of gods bliss.

Passive resistance. You go and surround the asylum seekers and refuse to stop, film the whole thing. See if this 'well regulated militia' has the discipline to not use violence against a peaceful group ignoring their illegal commands.

Wonder how much stuff they’re going to steal while protecting the boarder?

Not only are the impersonating police and or federal agents, they are very likely trespassing. They are probably breaking a dozen laws. It is time for real law enforcement to do their jobs and stop these dangerous people.

I'm talking about the last group of militia stealing a bunch of Government generators and military supplies. I think businesses in the area had thefts too but not positive about that.

which democrats? the democrat Obama who deported more illegals than any other president? Or the democrat house who offered Trump a massive increase in militarization of the border, sorry: "stopping superdangerous mid-east terrorists OMG I'm scared!" border protection?

Yet he didn't deport enough, he certainly didn't do enough to stop them coming here in the first place, he kicked the can down the road to the point it is an emergency today. His former DHS head even admitted so given the numbers Trump is dealing with on a daily basis today.

https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/crisis

You'll notice the thesaurus says crisis and emergency are synonyms, by the way...

They're not regulated at all. They're just another kind of vigilante.

Well regulated is very open to interpretation. Seems like they were well regulated to me.

Ah yes indeed, I have the Liberty University Official Conservative thesaurus in front of me right here. Lets see:
Climate: totally normal
Corporation: people

Here it is:
Crisis [krahy-sis]
noun
1. too many brown people
2. situation made up by grifters to scare idiots to vote for them, and/or against their economic interest.

You're right!! This is a crisis! No doubt about it. Couldn't be worse, we are clearly about to all die. Just the other day I even saw 2-3 latinos walking around, nuts.
