Military pictures needed

A local organization I am a member of is having a booth at the county fair. The booth is titled, "We Support our Military." We will have a flat screen tv with a dvd slideshow of local soldiers. We have over 100 pictures now. As this is a second home to me, and you guys seem local, I wanted to include you. If you have pictures of yourself or friends in a military (past or present) setting or while dressed the part, please post and we will use in the slideshow!

Thanks for your service.

EDIT: Guys I am disappointed in this. I asked for photographs of ATOT member who served in the military. The picture posted is fine, if it truly is a member of ATOT.

This wasn't meant to be a political thread it was simply a thread asking for pictures so we could let the troop know they are being supported, whether we agree with the reason they are there or not.

Since this thread took this horrible turn, I will ask the mods to lock it.

I really wish things like this would not happen.

Locked at OP's request.

This is so awful, how could you post that?

I hope you rot in hell.

I see a wife supporting her soldier husband?

How is a picture like that intended to boost morale for the troops?

I do not mean to sound like an awful jackass, but doubt "support our troops" is the thought Auric had in mind when he posted that, and as per the OP's message I don't believe for a second that's him... when the OP asked for pictures of AT's enlisted.

I guess that for the OP's intended purpose they should avoid pictures of honorable men who have damaged bodies as a result of their service to their country? "We want your military pictures, but if you have visible injuries as a result of your service, we don't want you, sorry." Whatever happened to supporting our troops no matter the condition they come home in? I see devotion in that picture. I see a young wife who is standing by her husband's side, where other lesser women would have left this poor guy high and dry. Sure, she doesn't look happy, but how can you look happy when your fiance comes home with such injuries?

I don't think you understand what supporting the troops means. I don't know what happened to him, but there are many soldiers who, if they had been in an armored vehicle instead of a Humvee, wouldn't be disfigured or maimed now. Supporting the troops means bringing them home in one piece, not putting a damn yellow ribbon magnet on your car or showing "badass", "patriotic" photos at your local county fair.

Okay, we get that you are bitter regarding the war. That is fine. I am not saying I agree with it but I feel it is important that our local troops who are getting ready to be deployed see that they have support back at home. You are not the only one who wants to bring them home safe, I certainly hope you realize that!

I would like to know what the story behind that first picture posted is. I'm not making any judgements, it just seems like everybody but me has already seen the picture.
