Military people: Is there a military term for "break time"

Specifically to the WWII era, but if there's a better one now, that'd be great.

I'm helping my father with a website about my grandfather's army regiment, and he wants a forum. I'd like to have a section for general chit chat, but would like to keep with the idea of the website theme.
