Military Models

Does anyone collect military models either the plastic do-it-yourself variety or premade ones? I am fascinated by WWII (hence the username) and have several collections of 1:32 scale soldiers as well as halftracks, tanks and the like. Tiger tank is my favorite among them. I was into building models years ago but now I get them from companies like 21 Century Toys or Dragon who favor realism.
Curious as to others interest in collectibles.

I used to be hardcore into wwII planes... back when I was like 12. 😛

You know I was surprised at the amount of adults who collect this stuff after visiting enthusiast websites and forums. They aren't to play with only to put on display. Some people collect beer cans I prefer tanks...lol. 😀

1:32 is very rare for armour/soldiers. Usually its 1:35.

1:32 is relatively common as large scale aircraft though.

You should play some Combat Mission or WWII online.

I've played among others the Sudden Strike Series, MOHAA, and the arcadish but fun as hell Battlefield 1942. The latter almost exclusively these days. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
