I was just wondering which countries have military sophistication like the US

I knew Israel has a pretty crazy army but I was just reading that Turkeys is pretty big and advanced. Is this true?

yup, others might have better special units, and might dominate the seas, but we control the air.

yes, turkey has a very large air-force - one of the largest in NATO.

Now the rest of their forces? Not sure really, but their air force is possibly top 5 for western allied countries.

Looks like their military force is the 2nd largest in NATO after the United States per Wikipedia.

Israel has experience, but not the same level of technology that the US does. (Well, maybe considering we sell them everything, but they certainly dont do it alone like the US does.)

When I took a military history course, the professor said we were 20 years ahead of everyone else in military tech. That was 2 years ago, not sure if other countries advanced faster than expected or not.

Well, a lot of it is due to Britain slacking and losing will after World War 2. In 1947 they declared themselves incapable of solely resisting communism, and the United States decided to step in. Britain then withdrew itself from world affairs bit by bit.
As for your question, the answer is no one. The two up close ones are Britain and Germany, I left Israel out because they rely on a lot of our tech and war machines. Britain and Germany are more independent. They're forces are pretty well trained, and their tanks (especially Germany's) are stellar. However, this doesn't guarantee success in any war.
