Military Age of Consent

I was looking at the age of consent chart (here) for reasons totally unrelated to Hilary Duff, when I noticed a row for 'Military' (2nd to last entry).

What does this mean? Does it mean the age of consent is different on military bases? Or does this only apply to foreign bases?

Not sure but WTF?

USA New Mexico 17 13 13

You have to wait for 17 for straight sex but you only need to be 13 for gay sex?

Not sure on the specifics of this, but when you are in the military, you are not covered under US civilian law; you're covered by the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice).

Hm...sounds like you can do it anywhere then--provided that both persons are members of the military.

There are sooo many silly rules that us Army guys have to follow. For example, (not that it makes any difference to me), but the whole gay issue better not become an issue. Next, no blow jobs..against the UCMJ. Tons more of silly rules 🙂

I don't know, it very well might.

But seeing as how he mentioned UCMJ, I'm not sure how this pertaints to this thread?
