Miley Cyrus sued over 'slanted eyes'

http://www.dailybreeze.com/lifeandculture/ci_12359838

Lawyers for Miley Cyrus renewed their attack on a Los Angeles woman suing the 16-year-old "Hannah Montana" star on behalf of what the plaintiff says is the city's entire Asian-Pacific Islander population.

In her lawsuit filed Feb. 11 in Los Angeles Superior Court, Lucie J. Kim is asking for $4,000 in civil rights damages per potential claimant, because of an image that shows Miley and some friends slanting their eyes, supposedly trying to make themselves look Asian.

Lucie J. Kim needs to be awarded a punch in the face by Mike Tyson. What a waste of everyone's time and money.

Stupid.

Two of my Asian friends back in high school used to play a game called "Are my eyes closed?" One day my history teacher yelled at them for being racist or degrading themselves or something, it didn't really make sense. Again, stupid.

What the hell? "civil rights damages"? Where in the Civil Rights act does it mention making slanty eyes is a violation?

so, are "they" ever going to get around to that tort reform that "they" have been yapping about for a decade+ now?

it is California, though, so who the hell knows what the judge will do.

<---- shudders to think about litigating any of my cases in California.

They're all there with an Asian guy in the pic and he doesn't seem to mind. The moron who filed this lawsuit needs to be fucking gassed.
