Mil. Spec. Ballistic Cases?

A client wants a quotation on some custom ballistic proof equipment cases. ATOT has some hardcore militia/gun types so I thought I'd ask. What manufacturer do you recommend?

Keep in mind that this will need to be custom sized and armored, not some Walmart plastic rifle case.

That stuff just seems to be water proof... we need bullet proof. I see no reference to ballistics or bomb protection. I need something that will take a blast and still be ok. Something with a ballistic protective blanket or something.

Pelican, though nice, indeed won't be worth crap against firearms.

Is weight a concern?

Buy some of those black boxes they use in airplanes. If they can survive a crash they can take a bullet or two.

make it yourself. find some ballsitic steel and some lvl IIa kevlar and some ballistic plates
wrap plates in kevlar, drill holes in plate and bolt ballsitic steel to plate. wels steel together. attach some latches and 2 GIANT hinges. someone should try it sometime.

Weight isn't an issue I don't think, it just needs to take a blast from close range. The cases will be in a vehicle that will be semi-armored. The cases should stand on there own though and not be dependant on the vehicle for protection.

Use steel then.

waht level of resistance?
up to level IIa would be fine with just a kevlar bag/some hard supporting material and foam.
III would require ballistic steel
IV would need cermaic plates built into the case.

Who in the world is going to bomb or shoot your turntables?

Did I miss read that this was going to be a case for Audio Equipment?

option 2) buy an m1 tank and put them in it. then tell them to get a flat bed truck to tow the tank on. It'll be blash proof!

option 3) put it in a mobile outhouse. No one in the right mind would blow up an outhouse. Feces flying everywhere. Now that's one dirty bomb!!

option 4) Profit?
