He has better percentages in both FGA and XPA. Not as many attempts, but you can hardly blame Nugent for that. In 2002 and 2003, Novak made 48 out of 60 field goal attempts. Nugent made 41 of 47 in the same time period. 87.2% vs 80%. Including 2001, the percentages are a little closer, 77.4% vs 75.3%. There is just something nice about having a kicker who has never missed a 50+ yard attempt.
Also, Nugent hasnt failed to make an XPA in 55 straight attempts. And he has a National Championship ring
Lydell Ross and Maurice Hall aren't horrible RBs by any means. But then again, they aren't superstars.

If Zwick can stop making stupid mistakes, he'll be a really good QB, and our offense will perk up a lot. I just hope he doesnt become Chris Rix, Junior. In his defense though, he is still an underclassman, and he is just starting to see real playing time. Whereas Chris Rix is in his final season of eligibility, and still makes remarkably stupid throws, judging by what I saw of the FSU-Miami game.
