Pay attention to the end of the interview, the embedded youtube clip. Like I have been saying, if you are looking for the anti-war party, the Democrats are not it. Of course the Republicans aren't either, but I shouldn't even have to say it.

That was a fun clip. I think the Pacifica hosts expected him to agree with everything they were saying about Palin. Makes me wish that rock throwin' coot got further in the presidential race.

No party is going to be the anti-war party as long as the defense industry is the largest make-work program in America. Plus, war (and the readiness for war) is sometimes necessary for the security of this country. The issue here is that the Dems actually do try on this issue, even when it pains them politically (i.e. Clinton's first term).

Makes me wonder why Ron Paul ever bothered trying to run as a republican, though.
