I've finally decided to take the plunge & move to the Socket A platform. I'll be selling my BF6/P3 700e@933 combination & purchasing an ASUS A7V133 & probably a Duron for starters. Anyway, I think I've decided on what HS/Fan combination I want to use. I'm VERY concerned with the amount of noise produced, silence is of utmost importance.
What I've come up with is a copper hedgehog, mounted with a copper spacer, with an 80mm fan from QuietPC. The fan is rated at 20dba/28 cfm. I have two of them, & they are very quiet. Of course I'll have to use an adapter to get the fan on, but that's no problem.
Anybody have a better recommendation for the HS?
