Migrating Software to an SSD

I just installed an SSD into my computer and put a clean install of Windows 8 on it. It seems to work great.

However, Office is still sitting on the original HDD and I do not have the original discs. Is there a good way of migrating software from an HDD to an SSD?

It is Not a matter of SSD or HD.

If you want to maintain everything as is you have to clone the Disk to a new one and evrything will be as is including the OS. Then there are forms of Upgrade that will Upgrade to Win 8/8.1 while maintaining everything.

If you did clean install, Data Files can be Migrated, applications have to be reinstalled on the new computer.

If you still have the old HDD, you can go back and clone it to the SSd and have everything as it was on the new drive. The other tack would be to install libreoffice or open office. You can also use a tool such as Belarc Advisor to go into your old HDD and get your key.
