Migrating programs into Vista

Here's the deal:

I got both Windows XP and Vista Business install on the same computer (on two different partitions). What is the most painless way to migrate all of my programs so that they will all be installed in vista as well (btw, I have all my programs installed on a separate partition) Thanks!
 
The best way would be to install them manually, maybe not the fastest but definitely the best, Vista should be a chance to start over, upgrade installs over XP have been, from my limited experience, very buggy and I just decided to start over and reinstall whats needed.
 
I agree about not upgrading over Windows XP. My experience was a buggy setup that took many hours to install.
