I hope this isn't too much of a tard question and that I'm overlooking something simple...
I have to migrate a 12 computer office from a workgroup to a domain. (New sbs2003 going in).
They are all XP or 2000 machines. (well, except for one cranky old nt4 server).
I have had the hardest time in the past migrating users consistently. That is, since there is going to be a new domain created, each user will be logging into the domain now instead of locally, and their OS's will see them as a different user. Thus all their settings will change, I have to move their files, email etc to the new user folder in documents and settings.
I have found that the files and settings wizard works only sometimes at best.
Is there some smart way to do this?
