Migrating from NT4 to 2003 AD

Currently migrating from NT4 to 2003 AD and I was wondering if MS or perhaps a 3rd party has a tool that can check user and security group permissions on files, folders and shares. Up until this point I have been doing it all manually. So I was wondering if anyone has come across such a tool.

Thanks in Advance.

After working with HP/Compaq servers for 4 years, my IT department's policy is no upgrading the OS on servers. Too much trouble. We either reroll the old hardware or find new hardware and then restore from backup tape. The last time we tried to upgrade, we were in Compaq driver hell until 7am Sunday morning.

We're not upgrading. We currently have both domains up (Trusted) and running but I need to setup the security groups for the users new accounts. We're changing all the naming schemes and when their new usernames are issued to them after we join them to the new AD Domain we are trying to cut down on as many of the calls stating "I can't access this, I can't access that" as we can. Old domain will remain up incase of serious problems so then can always just login to the old existing NT4 domain.

PM me and I'll email you the document someone in my department made up for migrating user accounts and groups between two domains. We tested this when my company went through a merger. If you use the ADMT it will migrate the SID's and everything.
